Dana White says Jon Jones has made enough money from fighting in the UFC to retire and never work again in his life.

Jones, 32, shocked the MMA world when he vacated his UFC light-heavyweight title on social media.

It comes after a bitter spat with the UFC president who called out Jones for wanting absurd money to face Francis Ngannou.

'Bones' did not appreciate the public slamming and took to Twitter to brand White a "f**king liar" and vacate his belt.

And White has finally responded to Jones abruptly revoking his UFC strap.

Speaking to The Canadian Press, he said: "Jon Jones is one of the greatest to ever do it.

"The decision he wants to make regarding his career is up to him. The reality is that he's made enough money from fighting that he's now in the position to retire and never work again in his life."

The 32-year-old not only vacated his title but also played match-maker while laying out his plans for a return, which includes a bout against UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.

"Reyes vs Jan For the UFC light heavyweight championship of the world. As of right now, I got nothing to really gain fighting either of them. Let me know if you guys want to set up a day in 2021 for that Izzy fight. Hopefully you guys will be willing to pay by then," he wrote on Twitter.

In another tweet, he wrote: "Bones out, when you see me in the streets just call me JJ."

He added: "To the light heavyweight title Veni, vidi, vici."

Will Jones stay retired? Let us know what you think.
