The Ten Highest-Paid Athletes Per Minute As Conor McGregor Takes One Second To Earn $1 Million

Conor McGregor takes ONE second to earn a staggering $1 million and earns $47,999,976 per minute, according to a stunning new research.

OLGB have crunched the all-important numbers to determine the highest-paid sport stars per minute from American football, basketball, baseball, football, boxing and mixed martial arts.

And McGregor, who has fought just once this year, tops the list as he takes one second to pocket $1 million.

Deontay Wilder and Canelo Alvarez are ranked second and third, respectively. The American takes 55 seconds to earn $1 million while the Mexican takes 58 seconds to earn $1 million.

Boxing world heavyweight champions Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are ranked fourth and fifth, respectively, with American football stars Kirk Cousins, Carson Wentz, Jared Goff, Julio Jones and Drew Brees making up the top ten.

Time taken to earn $1 million (June 1, 2019 - June 1, 2020):

1. Conor McGregor - 1 second

2. Deontay Wilder - 55 seconds

3. Canelo Alvarez - 58 seconds

4. Tyson Fury - 1 minute 8 seconds

5. Anthony Joshua - 1 minute 35 seconds

6. Kirk Cousins - 17 minutes 35 seconds

7. Carson Wentz - 18 minutes 31 seconds

8. Jared Goff - 20 minutes 26 seconds

9. Julio Jones - 24 minutes

10. Drew Brees - 24 minutes 10 seconds

Alexis Sanchez (11) is the highest placed footballer. The Chilean takes 24 minutes and 12 seconds to earn $1 million. Paul Pogba (12), Neymar (13) and Lionel Messi (24) also earned a spot in the top 25. Cristiano Ronaldo is ranked 37th.
