Ben Askren vs. Jorge Masvidal is slated for UFC 239.
Askren, fresh off beating Robbie Lawler in his UFC debut, is set to meet Masvidal in a welterweight bout at UFC 239 in Las Vegas on July 6.

Askren stretched his perfect MMA record to 19-0 after submitting Lawler in the very first round at UFC 235.
Masvidal, on the other hand, is coming off a stunning victory versus Darren Till at UFC London. He viciously knocked out the former welterweight title challenger with a huge left-hand.
Askren vs. Masvidal is the No.5 ranked fighter vs the No.4 ranked fighter, respectively, so the winner is in pole position to fight for the 170 lbs belt later this year.

The two fighters were trading verbal shots on social media with the ex-Bellator champion claiming Masvidal was scared of fighting him.
Though the American Top Team-fighter has verbally agreed to fight Askren.
UFC 239 takes place at Las Vegas, Nevada, and coincides with UFC International Fight Week.
