This is easily the worst MMA injury we've ever seen.
Over the weekend in America, an amateur MMA fighter snapped his leg in a gruesome injury on the undercard of America Kombat Alliance's Rite of Passage 6.

"Jonathan King just got out of recovery this morning. The doctor said surgery to set the leg went really well. Physical therapy starts tomorrow morning and he should be cleared to travel home this week."
It's not the first time we've seen this kind of injury inside a cage.
Corey Hill, who sadly passed away in 2015, and Anderson Silva suffered a very similar injury in UFC.
Silva famously broke his leg in a UFC middleweight title bout against Chris Weidman in one of the most shocking endings to a fight.
The Brazilian threw a leg-kick which was checked by Weidman, resulting in a horrific injury.

It took Silva just 13 months to step back inside the famed Octagon.
Here's hoping for a speedy recovery, Jonathan.
