With a potential Khabib-McGregor rematch still in the minds of UFC fans, Boxing legend Mike Tyson said that Khabib should take the fight because McGregor will never beat the Russian.

With McGregor supposedly about to agree to a deal to fight Donald Cerrone in early 2020 and Khabib being in talks with Tony Ferguson, the rematch might not be until late 2020.

However, with McGregor desperately wanting the fight as soon as possible, Mike Tyson was asked about the potential rematch.

"Khabib beat him [McGregor], right? But they still want the fight! People still want to see him fight Khabib. He's not going to beat Khabib. He's gonna never beat Khabib. But people are still going to pay to see him fight Khabib."

Iron Mike Tyson went on to actually say that Khabib should take the fight though. And said the Russian should have 10 fights with him, with the idea that Khabib won't make as much money against an actual competitor, than against McGregor.

"Khabib is going to get more money beating this guy that he knows he can beat, than he would ever get in a competitive fight against a guy that's capable of beating him. So, why not fight him 10 times? People will pay to see him fight 10 times, to see him lose 10 times. Now that's marketing, millions, billions. He's a genius, you can't take that away."

McGregor was easily beaten by Nurmagomedov in their first match just over a year ago in October 2018 by Submission in the fourth round.

Since then, McGregor hasn't fought professionally and has been more known for his Whiskey brand and assaulting a pub-goer.

Khabib since the McGregor fight fought Dustin Poirier in September, continuing his unbeaten record in the UFC after submitting Poirier in the third round.
