Colby Covington believes Jorge Masvidal would wipe the floor with Conor McGregor if the pair ever met in the octagon.
No 2 ranked UFC welterweight Covington, 31, believes Irishman McGregor is too small for his best friend Masvidal.
"He would piece up Conor for sure," Covington said of 34-year-old Masvidal. "No doubt about it. Conor's too small. He's a little guy.

Covington has been lined up for a shot at the UFC welterweight title against champion Kamaru Usman, who underweight double hernia surgery in March.
And that title shot could be at the expense of his friend Masvidal, who also wants a shot at the championship.

Covington has taken many shots at champion Usman and wants to get into the octagon with him and leave Masvidal to take on McGregor.
"Absolutely (that works)," Covington said to Submission Radio. "He knew that title shot was never his all along."
"We (him and Masvidal) are one of the best dynamic duos in the history of MMA, but let's get it right, we are the Batman and Robin, of course I'm Batman and he's Robin, but you guys know what I mean."
On Usman's injury, Covington added: "We're talking about Marty Fakenewsman and we're talking about that receding hairline that he has.
"He's losing that hairline faster than he's about to lose that number one contender Power Ranger belt. The guy's on borrowed time right now, boys."

McGregor hasn't fought since his harrowing defeat by Khabib Nurmagomedov last October.
Speaking on ESPN last month, Masvidal said: ""I want McGregor. I want to break his face. I think that's an easy paycheck. He's got these cash symbols written all over his face for me. I just don't see it going his way if I'm honest with you.
"Definitely the title, definitely Kamaru Usman interests me.
"He's got the title and that's what I want but he's always having injuries and things are happening."
