UFC Fighter Pranks Jorge Masvidal By Pretending To Be Ben Askren's Son

The BMF champion knocked out the former UFC star in just five seconds, the quickest KO in the company's history.

Jorge Masvidal is in Las Vegas to eye up potential future opponent Conor McGregor and he took his eye off what was in front of him as he was pranked by an interviewer.

The BMF champion was in attendance at the press days ahead of Conor McGregor's fight with Donald Cerrone, the Irishman's return to action after over a year out.

There were plenty of eyes on Masvidal and he was interviewed by UFC's Chase Hooper. With his curly hair Hooper could easily be Ben Askren's son and Gamebred is of course the man who knocked out Askren in a record five seconds.

Hooper joked with Masvidal asking 'Why did you do that to my dad?' and the company's 'Baddest Motherf*cker' looked a bit spooked.

Hooper is a 20-year-old featherweight who has had 10 professional fights in his short career to date, winning nine and drawing the other.

He made his debut at UFC 245 on the undercard of the Usman Kamaru vs Colby Covington fight, beating Daniel Teymur in a first round knockout.

It's clearly not just in the octagon that people need to be wary of him after getting the better of Masvidal on the mic in their brief encounter.

Masvidal's incredible 2019 started when he beat Darren Till in London early in the year and that earned him a fight with the controversial Askren, known for his big mouth.

They entered quite a personal feud ahead of the UFC 239 bout but it was over in just five seconds with the former ONE champion being stopped cold as Masvidal connected with a knee to the face as Askren went for the immediate takedown.

The 35-year-old from Florida then went on to beat Nate Diaz for the BMF title, that the Stockton Slugger had dreamt up, and Masvidal's brilliant year was finished with a brutal performance.

With no sporting events currently going on, other than UFC 249, there's no telling when the 'Baddest Motherf*cker' could be back in action but he has been linked with fighting McGregor or Kamaru Usman at some point this year.

He'll have to be sharper in the octagon than he was against Hooper.
