Dana White has revealed that he is in ongoing talks with Floyd Mayweather Jr over a potential collaboration, culminating in fight nights from both parties.

It was revealed in December that the duo had reached an agreement to hold a 'spectacular event' after being pictured sitting together courtside at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
'Money' Mayweather hasn't fought since 2017 when he beat UFC legend Conor McGregor in a boxing ring to extend his winning record in boxing to 50-0.
It is widely believed, however, that Mayweather will make his highly-anticipated comeback to the ring against an unnamed UFC fighter.

Those plans were placed on hold after two personal tragedies rocked Mayweather's family. His former partner, Josie Harris, and uncle, Roger Mayweather, both died within the space of a week in March.
According to White, an event spearheaded by the pair is still 'very possible'. He told TMZ: "Floyd and I still have dialogue and go back and forth. We're still interested on both sides."
White also told the Jim Rome Show, "If everything goes our way, Floyd and I would be doing something in October or November."
However, White has brought a potential rematch between McGregor and Mayweather to a close saying that he isn't even thinking about the Irish UFC legend.

"When I'm doing things right now and running business, I don't even think about Conor. Conor is retired. As of right here now today, Conor is retired until Conor tells me differently. I'm not trying to make any fights for Conor."
