Nate Diaz Pays Fans Rent Who Lost Money Betting On Him

Nate Diaz Pays Fans Rent Who Lost Money Betting On Him

Nate Diaz has come to the rescue of one fan who put faith in the UFC star and bet his rent on the 34-year-old beating Jorge Masvidal at UFC 244.

The two fighters faces each other 10 days ago at Madison Square Garden for the BMF title, with Masvidal winning the fight thanks to a controversial stoppage by the doctor because of two cuts on Diaz's face.

One fan replied to a post by the Stockton Slugger on Instagram, informing the fighter that he'd bet his rent money on the former Ultimate Fighter winner, with Diaz replying to say he had the fans 'b*tchass:'

Instagram user '@unknownkillers213' then posted his own message, confirming Diaz had paid, saying, "Update for everyone asking me, Yes Nate actually helped me out Nate is the true OG BMF he sent me more money than what I lost on my bet and I'm using it to buy from his cbd company "Game Up"

"Nate is a really cool guy when I made that post I didn't think twice about it I didn't even think he would see it and I even let him know that I wasn't really sleeping in my car it was more of a joke but it was awesome the way he responded and the fact that he refunded me and gave me some extra cash just goes to show he is a man of the people !!!"

Alongside the caption the man with more faith in his UFC favourite than sense posted pictures of proof Diaz sent him money:

Diaz was second favourite going into the fight with 'Gamebred' for the title of the UFC's baddest motherf*cker and the odds proved to be right.

Masvidal continued his incredible 2019 in UFC by dominating the first three rounds and cutting the California native twice.

At the end of the third round the cageside doctor stepped in to check on the Stockton Slugger and he called off the fight, much to the annoyance of the crowd.

Masvidal said he'd be happy to 'run the fight back' but Diaz initially looked to have retired from UFC, before claiming that wasn't the case and he'd 'fight tonight.'

Since then Nate's older brother Nick has called Masvidal out for claiming he was going to 'baptise' the younger Diaz ahead of UFC 244.
