Who Wins Euro 2016 From Here?

The first round of knockout ties came to an end last night (rather abruptly if you're an England fan) but there's still a long way to go yet and we've taken a look at the outright winner market as we move in to the quarter-finals and picked out the best valued team to go all the way.

Host nation France are the bookie's favourites at 11/4 to lift the trophy. Les Bleus have won three of their four games so far, drawing the other, and while they haven't set the tournament alight yet, they do boast an incredibly talented side with a number of match-winners capable of anything on their day. They also have the advantage of their phenomenal home support to carry them when they need it.

Gary Lineker once said: "Football is a simple game. Twenty-two men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans always win" and the World Champions are 3/1 to win the entire thing. Joachim Löw's side, like France, have taken three wins and a draw from their campaign so far. Their last win, a 3-0 mauling of Slovakia, showed how good they can be when they turn up.

Italy are a fantastic price at 7/1 and our tip for the remainder of the tournament. They brushed Spain aside in the first knockout round and whilst going up against Germany in the quarter finals is certainly a tough prospect, the Italians have always had the upper hand over the Germans in major tournaments and are unbeaten in all meetings. The Azzurri were written off by most pre-tournament but have shown that they are very capable of going all the way.

Elsewhere, there's value in Belgium at 4/1 given they have a pretty straightforward route to the final. First up is Wales (28/1), should they win that, they'd meet up with either Portugal (7/1) or Poland (18/1) in the semis. Their opening defeat to Italy aside, the Red Devils have been terrific this summer and their recent 4-0 demolition of Hungary showed this golden generation of Belgians can't be written off.

If you're an England fan and not at all bitter about the shock defeat and want to support our conquerors, then you can back Iceland at a hefty 40/1. Everyone loves an underdog.
