Tottenham Could Lose Two Crucial Players
Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen have both been priced by Ladbrokes for shock moves away from Tottenham
The Spurs pair will both be out of contract next summer and the bookies reckon both players could leave the club as a result.
As things stand it's Barcelona who are 7/4 favourites to make a move for Alderweireld, while Manchester United are shock frontrunners for Vertonghen's signature at 3/1.
Vertonghen moved to Spurs from Ajax in 2012 and has played 260 times for the North London side.
The experienced centre-back has also earned 110 caps for the Belgium national side.
Alderweireld joined Tottenham from Southampton in 2015 and has made 122 appearances for the Lilywhites in all competitions.
The 29-year-old, who is also from Belgium, has won 86 caps for his country.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "This is a huge season for Spurs. Plenty of eyes are already on Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris, but it goes from bad to worse for fans with Alderweireld and Vertonghen now priced for shock moves away."
Meanwhile, Vertonghen is set to miss Tottenham's crucial Champions League clash at home against PSV tonight.
Pochettino's side are yet to pick up a win in the competition this season and a loss tonight would more-or-less declare them out of the tournament.
Spurs lost their opening game to Inter Milan as the Italians came from behind late on to win 2-1 before they lost 4-2 at home to Barcelona, they then suffered a shock draw away to Dutch champions PSV.
