Sir Anthony Peter McCoy (OBE), commonly known as AP McCoy, is without a doubt the greatest jump jockey in the history of National Hunt racing. He rode 4,358 winners starting with his first all the way back in 1992 at the age of only 17 and was Champion Jockey an astonishing twenty times in a row

McCoy has won almost every big race there is to win. His most high-profile winners include the Cheltenham Gold Cup, Champion Hurdle, Queen Mother Champion Chase, King George VI Chase and the 2010 Grand National, riding Don't Push It to a spectacular victory at Aintree.

Despite all of his success, AP is a humble & private man and to find out more about the man behind the mystery, William Hill sent legendary football writer Paddy Barclay to Jackdaws Castle to meet the man himself with some fascinating results.
