Controversial adverts offering 'protection to fans' spotted in Leeds this afternoon ahead of England's last warm-up game against Costa Rica.
Doping, state-sponsored poisoning's and football hooligans... Russia is hardly the Cotswolds.
But worried England fans heading to the World Cup were dealt a lifeline yesterday - quite literally. After sports fantasy company, Dribble, announced a competition for supporters to win private security to escort them safely around Russia.

A fleet of controversial ad trucks, organised by Dribble, were spotted driving around Leeds yesterday afternoon, ahead of England's final warm-up game against Costa Rica at Elland Road.
The trucks, featuring suitably mean looking hardmen, were spotted amongst England fans outside Elland Road and read: STAY ULTRA SAFE IN RUSSIA.

Dribble has hand-picked an army of scary looking 'defenders' to launch the competition, where football fans can head to pickadefender.com for a chance to win their own private protection in Russia.
The World Cup has been hit by a series of negative stories associated with hooliganism in Russia, with many England fans choosing to cheer on the Three Lions from the comfort of their own home this summer.
Dribble CEO Nicholas Wright, said: "Some England fans are obviously worried about heading to Russia so we thought about what we could do to keep them safe. We were pipped-at-the-post on assault rifle tattoos, so giving them a chance to win a 'defender' seemed like the safe option.

To be honest, with President's Putin's forces likely to have the place on lockdown, the most action these big guys will get is carrying fans' suitcases but at least they look scary - plus if Rebecca Vardy is taking security to Russia why shouldn't Three Lions fans."
Football fans heading to Russian can visit pickadefender.com to enter the competition.
