The draw was the best decision for the fans
I don't feel the draw in the first fight between Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin and Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez was the best decision the judges could have made on the night. I, personally, had a couple of rounds in GGG's favour but admittedly being just two rounds ahead in a 12-round fight is by no means a decisive win.
In high-profile fights you're rarely going to 100% agree with the judges, however with the rematch taking place this Saturday, it's turned out to be a great decision for boxing fans because we get to watch these boxers go toe to toe once more.
Time works in Canelo's favour

The delay that's happened between these fights, because of Alvarez' drug ban, I believe will have worked in his favour. He's the younger fighter by almost nine years. I know first-hand what impact age can have on a fighter. Every month that goes by, Golovkin gets slower, older and you start to favour Canelo.

I'm a fighter, I've experienced the deterioration in my reflexes, speed and timing within a 12-month period. GGG is a similar age to myself and believe me, this delay will work in a young man's favour.
Experience comes with age, which in some scenarios can play to a boxer's advantage over their younger opponent but in this situation it's not the case. Canelo has been a professional since he was a teenager and has 13 more fights than Golovkin. He has fought on the biggest stage and sold out the arenas time and time again.
Rematches won't make much of a difference

The rematch won't work in either fighter's favour. They're both very experienced and will have been aware before the first fight what the other will bring to the table in terms of power. Canelo absorbed what to many would have been knock-out punches and GGG has a high knock-out ratio, but Canelo can step into the ring with the confidence he can take those shots.

Going into a rematch, you may have a pre-conceived idea of what your opponent will do as you've previously shared the ring for 36 minutes with each other, however this shouldn't determine what happens in the fight.
Anything can happen in training camp, your opponent can change his tactics, he can turn stance, use more body shots, his head work could be better, etc. That's one of the factors of the sport which divides opinions in the build up to these big fights, you never know what has happened in camp behind closed doors. Any training footage which has been posted on social will have been selected with a purpose and interviews questions carefully answered.
I'm picking Canelo to win on points, although I think it's likely to be a controversial decision. The first-time round there was a debatable draw but this time round I believe he's the younger man who is fresher, it'll be another close fight but the judges will pick him
