A Ladbrokes punter turned £31.60
into £103,186.61 on Tuesday evening after correctly predicting the outcome of
20 football matches across Europe.
The unnamed customer, from London, guessed there would be three or more goals scored in every game on his accumulator, but was dangerously close to missing out on the monster payout.
With 19 of the 20 selections landing with relative ease, an 89th minute goal from Icelandic outfit Thor Akureyri in the final game of the bet ended up being the difference between the punter winning £103k and nothing at all.
