Leeds Rhinos v Huddersfield Giants: Thursday 20:00

The challenge cup weekend always throws up a shock result, fortunately this wasn't the case for Leeds, as they eased passed league 1 side Doncaster 64-28, the shock of the weekend came at the hands of championship side Swinton, as they managed to hold out to beat Super League side Huddersfield 24-28.

With regards to tonight's game, I can only see one outcome and that's a Leeds win. The Rhinos were able to rest several key players at the weekend and current form all points towards a home victory.

However, my money will going elsewhere. Huddersfield's last three Super League games have shown they can go toe-to-toe with the big boys and I believe the inclusion of talisman Danny Brough along with several other first team players means Huddersfield will be able to keep it respectable. Back Huddersfield +18 at evens.

Hull FC v Warrington Wolves: Friday 20:00

Friday night throws up an interesting tie, as unpredictable sides Hull FC and Warrington Wolves go head-to-head at the KCOM Stadium. Both sides are yet to hit the heights they reached last season, whilst poor results have left both head coaches in danger of being sacked.

Warrington are unbeaten in four, but are yet to blow any team away and I'm still not convinced they have steadied the ship after the terrible start they endured.

I'm leaning towards a Hull win, after two shocking performances in which over a 100 points were conceded, they seem to have gotten back on track. They followed beating Leigh with an impressive win over league leaders Castleford Tigers. They played a large portion of that game with 12 men, after a red card for prop Liam Watts, so I reckon they're more than capable of conceding four points here. Back Hull FC -4 at 10/11.

Castleford Tigers v Wigan Warriors: Saturday 19:00

The Tigers host the Warriors on Saturday, in a game which should be the tie of the round. Wigan's injury list is starting to shorten week by week, and three wins on the bounce has left them just a point adrift of the top two, though I still think a number of Wigan players need more game time before they begin to hit top gear.

So for Saturday I'm going with the Tigers, they have lost two in a row but can prove their title credentials with a win against the reigning Champions to get them back on track.

Sunday showed the massive part Luke Gale is playing in the Tigers' success too, as they failed to take control against 12-man Hull when he left the field. The Half-Back returns to their 19-man squad for Saturday's game and I feel that gives the Tigers enough against Wigan. Back Castleford -4 at 10/11.

We advise on 1 point per bet, and a ½ point on the treble at 6/1.
