There's a staggering amount of racing in Britain and Ireland on Thursday and Danny Archer has selected his best bets...

2:30: Brighton: Wiley Post 15/8.

Second last time at Windsor reads well and he is more than capable of making g presence felt.

4:00: Brighton: Golden Wedding 7/1 Each Way.

Not much room for manoeuvre off current Mark but likes it here and ground should suit.

2:20: Haydock: Diamond Set 5/1.

Ran well on debut to finish second and whilst this looks a wide open contest, he represents a yard who do very well with their juveniles.

3:50: Haydock: Sainted 4/6.

Looks class act in field who didn't get run of the race in a Group 3 event last time.

5:15: Leopardstown: Man Power 9/4.

Michael O'Callaghan is a very good young trainer an this two year old son of Dandy Man can make his rivals pay here. Second to a talented Aidan O'Brien inmate last time, he stayed in really nicely that time and there's more to come.

7:20: Leopardstown: Johannes Vermeer 11/10 NAP.

Did the job nicely at at the Curragh last time to land a G3 event and that form has been boosted very nicely by the second winning a competitive event at York last time. He seems to be finally getting his act together and I think it's interesting that Ryan Moore has headed over to ride.

8:25: Leopardstown: Abyssinian 8/11.

Improved on first start at 3 when finishing a staying on fifth over 14 furlongs at Killarney last time. He should handle the drop back to 12 furlongs and should go well here.

5:50: Newcastle: Spirit Of The Vale 5/2.

Has the services of a very decent apprentice and likes it round here.

6:55: Newcastle: Cape Bunting 6/4.

Has superior form to his rivals and is the highest rated horse in the field.

9:00: Newcastle: Maazel 7/2.

Represents the Varian yard and he was a narrow second at Brighton last time. No reason why the tapeta surface won't suit.

5:35: Sandown: Canberra Cliffs 7/2.

Booking of Simon Walker is really eye catching and the return to this trip should see him in a better light here.

7:15: Sandown: Time Chaser 6/4.

Looked smart so far this season and step up in trip should suit on pedigree.

8:20: Sandown: Wealth Tax 6/4.

Has won on rain softened ground and despite another quick run here, looks capable of big performance.

7:05: Wolverhampton: Easy Wind 9/2.

Pretty disappointing that he couldn't score at Chepstow last time but he was too keen that day and the All Weather surface could play to his strengths.

3:10: Yarmouth: Entangling 11/10.

Chris Wall is a very canny trainer who does well here and his second on his first turf start at Doncaster last time was pretty creditable and this track should also help.
