Some decent racing action today with flat racing at Pontefract, a jump card at Southwell and in Ireland, a cracking flat card at the Curragh, coupled with a jumps meeting at Tramore.

2:10: Curragh: Theobald 5/4. In excellent form and ran a cracker behind The Pentagon, a well regarded inmate of Aidan O'Brien's, which makes him of strong interest here.
2:45: Curragh: Declarationofpeace 3/1. Simply not good enough in G1 event latest and better is expected now at G3 level.
4:00: Pontefract: Queen Kindly 2/1. Without doubt, Richard Fahey's charge is the class horse in the race and her second at York last time was a step back in the right direction.
4:35: Pontefract: Eagle Creek 15/8 NAP. Very disappointing back on turf last time having previously hacked up at Lingfield. However, that race at Newmarket has worked out very well and he is worth giving another chance in this race.
2:00: Southwell: Azzuri 4/5. Dan Skelton's charge is the pick of these on form and should win.
3:40: Southwell: Old Harry Rocks 3/1. Running with credit in novice hurdle company and now switched handicapping, he can improve again.
5:25: Southwell: Tempuran 5/4. Hasn't done much hurdling but has first run for a shrewd yard.
1:50: Tramore: Glan Y Gors 2/1. Fourth at Galway last time but that was a solid enough run and he is entitled to go well.
4:40: Tramore: Sir Jack Yeats 3/1. Excellent fifth in a competitive event last time and he remains unexposed off this current mark.
