As you'd expect, there is plenty of racing on Saturday and we're hoping for another winning NAP.

Racing takes place on the flat at Ascot, Nottingham, Thirsk and Lingfield, whilst Haydock hosts a mixed jumps and flat meeting. Hexham and Warwick host jump meetings whilst the Curragh stages a flat meeting in Ireland. There is also decent Graded racing in America tonight at Belmont Park.

Here are Danny Archer's selections...

Prince to reign at Ascot

2:50: Ascot - UAE Prince 9/2 Each Way (1/4, 3 places).

Roger Varian's charge was a one-time Derby fancy but his career has been very stop-start. However, he looked to finally realising his potential at Ripon last time where he knuckled down well in the closing stages to score by three-quarters of a length. This son of Sea The Stars will appreciate the step up in distance and he looks sure to go well in this cracking Listed event.

4:00: Ascot - Fastnet Tempest 9/2 Each Way (1/4, 5 places) and George William 12/1 Each Way (1/5, 6 places).

A decent third at Newbury in the Spring Cup having been prominent throughout. The slight drop in trip will suit and Haggas has done well to book the services of Gordon. George William was an impressive winner at Nottingham in April. He was a staying-on fourth in the Spring Cup having broke poorly and he is sure to finish strongly.

Night to be crowning Glory at Navan

4:30: Curragh - Night Of Glory 6/4.

Ran well to finish a neck second on debut at Navan last month and sure to improve on that run.

5:05: Curragh - Bainne 7/1 Each Way.

Been running with credit in defeat and is a course and distance winner, looks sure to go well.

Constable to lay down the law at Haydock

3:10: Haydock - John Constable 15/2 Each Way (1/4, 4 places).

Probably beaten when falling at the last at Aintree but he travelled powerfully that day and whilst he has to defy a 5lb rise, the horse who beat him that day has won another valuable race since so he remains open to potential.

4:20: Haydock - Waady 9/4.

John Gosden's sprinter was better over five furlongs last year and a year older and with another winter on his back, he has a live chance in this event, particularly as he goes well fresh.

5:25: Haydock - The Grape Escape 13/8.

Richard Hannon's charge was third in what looks a decent renewal of the Esher Cup and he should improve again.

5:55: Haydock - Never Up 7/1 Each Way.

Sue Smith's gelding has a high head carriage but he likes this ground, jumps well and travels powerfully through his races. He has a lively chance in this.

John to enhance Derby credentials at Lingfield

2:30: Lingfield - Sir John Lavery 11/10.

Aidan O'Brien is dominating the Derby trials and this son of Galileo has been very well hyped all winter. A seven-length winner at Gowran Park in October, he has supposedly been working very well and he has to win this to have any chance in the Derby.

Merlin cast a spell on rivals at Nottingham

2:05: Nottingham - Merlin 6/5.

Interesting that Michael Bell gives his charge one more chance to win a maiden and that makes him of interest despite the drop back in trip from one mile to six furlongs.

4:25: Nottingham - Wannabe Friends 13/8.

Luca Cumani's charge finished well over a shorter trip last time having been held up and with normal improvement expected after that reappearance and with the step up in trip massively in his favour, he is a strong selection.

5:00: Nottingham - Aelius 6/1 Each Way (1/4, 3 places).

Relatively weak form in maidens over shorter trip but Easterby does very well with his horses and he could improve entering handicap company and stepping up to one mile.

Airton to soar to success at Thirsk

5:45: Thirsk - Noah Amor 8/11.

Tough to look past Richard Fahey's charge who has been in decent from the yard and is a course and distance winner. He likes six furlongs as well.

6:45: Thirsk - Airton 5/1 Each Way (1/4, 3 places).

Finished second here last time and despite 1lb rise in the weights, he looks sure to go well.

Zhukova to light up Belmont Park

10:13: Belmont Park (USA) - Zhukova 5/2.

Dermot Weld sends his star mare over to the US and has booked top jockey John Velazquez for the Grade One Man O' War Stakes. Rain has hit the track this week which is in her favour and the trip will suit.

Win Double

2:30: Lingfield - Sir John Lavery

4:25: Nottingham - Wannabe Friends
