Plenty of racing to get stuck into on Friday and here are Danny Archer's selections.

2:10: Brighton: Lake Volta 5/4.

Well beaten on debut but perhaps better than he showed and with Mark Johnston's horse in such fine form, it would be folly to dismiss him.

3:10: Brighton: Free Forum 5/4.

Gelding operation seemed to do the trick when winning last time and current mark does not look beyond him.

3:40: Brighton: Native Prospect 7/2.

Form of Epsom defeat reads well with winner running creditably at Ascot since. Trip suits and this mark does not look behind him.

4:40: Brighton: Screaming Gemini 5/2.

A well beaten second at Leicester in June but been waited with by Roger Varian and off interest over this trip.

7:15: Haydock: Veejay 9/4.

Very well backed at Goodwood last week but didn't get the run of the race. This is an easier event and if that run hasn't taken it out of him, this looks very winnable.

8:20: Haydock: Granny Roz 13/8.

Narrowly beaten at Doncaster last time and with a handy 4lb claimed aboard here, he has a live chance.

2:30: Musselburgh: Rumshak 8/11.

Tried to lead throughout last time and was only it's caught, capable did it there improvement here.

5:50: Tipperary: Treasuring 5/4.

A half length ahead of India Rain last time and despite being 4lb worse off at the weights this time around, he still has the form edge.

6:25: Tipperary: Magic Bear 3/1.

Represents a sprinter who does very well with sprinters and she just seemed struggle with the former surface last time. She can continue her improvement on softer ground today.
