ODDSbible Racing: Danny Archer's York Day Two Tips & Daily Double

ODDSbible Racing: Danny Archer's York Day Two Tips & Daily Double

ODDSbible Racing Tipster Danny Archer is in red hot form - can land his fourth winning NAP in a row?

Alex Donohue

Alex Donohue

We are in sensational form at the moment and landed another 3 winners from 6 selections at York yesterday.

Our man Danny Archer is back with more selections as he looks for his fourth winning NAP in a row and 11th winning NAP from his last 14 selections...

I'll be placing my bets with Ladbrokes today to take advantage of their Best Odds Guaranteed Plus concession, which means I'll get a price boost if I take an early price about my selection and the SP is bigger. They will also double winnings in both the 1.55 & 2.25 races if your selection wins by 3 lengths or more. Full terms here.

1:55: York: Hey Jonesy and De Bruyne Horse Each Way.
Kevin Ryan's Hey Jonesy followed up a creditable second on debut with a decisive two and three quarter length victory over course and distance on the Knavesmire last time. The second and third that day have both won since and he looks an exciting juvenile proposition.
I'm a massive fan of De Bruyne Horse who impressed me when landing Woodcote Stakes at Epsom in June. He has been highly tried since but scored by a neck at Vichy in France in a Listed event last time. The return to six furlongs should not prove an inconvenience and he is worth an each way bet.

This race also qualifies for Ladbrokes' Three & Easy offer so if either of my selections bolt up by 3 lengths or more you'll get double winnings. Terms here.

2:25: York: Madeline and Happy Like A Fool Each Way
Roger Varian's Madeline created a favourable impression at Newbury last time in a Listed event where she displayed a potent turn of foot to score by two and a quarter lengths. That was a striking run as she denounced a good field in taking fashion that day and the good to soft ground will also suit. She enters the could be anything category and has plenty more to offer.
Happy Like A Fool represents American trainer Wesley Ward and after dictating proceedings for much of the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot, she couldn't match the finishing kick of the eventual winner Heartache. The step up to six furlongs is by no means a worry and she brings solid juvenile form to the table.

This race also qualifies for Ladbrokes' Three & Easy offer so if either of my selections bolt up by 3 lengths or more you'll get double winnings. Terms here.

3:00: Ascot: Chelsea Lad and El Hayem Each Way.
Martyn Meade's Chelsea Lad has always been well thought of and he has finished in the placings in competitive handicaps at York and Windsor the last twice. His second over course and distance back in May reads well and his mark of 98 could still usher in further improvement.
El Hayem finally got his act together this season when narrowly landing a handicap event at Sandown last time and was probably a more comfortable winner than the winning margin suggests. I still think there is more to improvement to come from this lightly races Sir Michael Stoute-trained gelding who only has a 4lb rise for that win.
3:35: York: Enable.
Very tough to look past John Gosden's Enable who has won the English and Irish Oaks and the King George on her last three starts. She was impressive in all three events and following Ulysses' victory in the Juddmonte International yesterday, the form of her King George win has been franked. She is the outstanding filly of her generation and can land further G1 glory in the Yorkshire Oaks.
4:15: York: Mori NAP
Quite possibly my favourite horse in training, Sir Michael Stoute's Mori has taken her racing well this year. Fifth on her debut at Newbury in April, the regally bred daughter of Frankel and Midday landed a maiden at Ascot in May before taking her form to another level when landing a Listed event by a length and three quarters at Goodwood later that month. She was an agonising neck second in the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot last time where she was just pegged back on the line. I think she is a top class filly with a very bright future ahead of her and she is rightly the highest rated horse in the field. She may not be the greatest price but she is a very strong selection.
4:50: York: Cristal Fizz and Caridade Each Way
Winner of her first two starts at two-years-old, William Haggas' filly was eighth in the French 1000 Guineas before finishing fifth in the German equivalent in June. Better was expected of her that day but she is open to further improvement back in Britain.
Kevin Ryan's inmate will have to improve again on her six length win on her handicap bow at Redcar last time but that didn't look too bad an event and she can improve again.
