Martial Reveals How He Has Turned Around His Man United Career
French forward Anthony Martial has been in-form recently scoring six goals in 10 Premier League games this season.
Martial was heavily linked with a move away from the club over the summer after a falling out with Man United boss Jose Mourinho, after the former Chelsea boss fined him for not turning up due to the birth of his child.
Martial's form won him the Red Devils Player of the Month in October and has made him the clubs top goal scorer so far this season.
After starting his ninth straight game on Tuesday the 22-year-old has revealed starting games week-in-week out has helped improve his all-round play.
"The key to it is playing games," the youngster said. "For me, when you play in a game, that's when you get back your enjoyment and you start to pick up your form once again.
"If you don't feature regularly and you only take part in training sessions, you might still be in decent form, but it's not the same as when you are playing in matches.
"I hope that I can continue to put together a good run of games and perform well in them."
Meanwhile, Martial is yet to agree terms on a new contract with Man United, forcing the club's chiefs into activating an automatic one-year extension as his contract was set to end in the summer.
And Sky Sports understands that the parties remain miles away from agreeing terms, regardless of ongoing negotiations.
It is reported that Chelsea, who are 20/1 with the bookies to sign the Frenchman, and Juventus (4/1) are interested in the United forward, however, Mourinho is keen to keep Martial at the club.
Elsewhere, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford are both extremely low odds for a move away from Manchester.
Pogba is evens for a move back to the Old Lady and Rashford, who has been out of form this season, has drifted out to 5/1 for a move to Real Madrid.
