Manchester United fans should strap themselves in for a torrid twelve months, according to Ladbrokes.

The bookies have priced up a whole host of United-related specials, and the future looks far from bright for the Premier League giants.

1/5 says Jose Mourinho's men finish this season outside of the top four, while 1/20 says they go another campaign trophyless.

And it looks as though the Red Devils will lose three key names, with Mourinho himself 8/11 not to be in charge on the opening day of next season.

PA

The 55-year-old took over at Man United in 2016 after being sacked by Chelsea and has since won the Europa League, the Community Shield and the EFL Cup with the Manchester side.

However, the Red Devils have had an awful start to the season and already trail table-topping rivals Manchester City by 12 points following their 3-1 derby defeat on Sunday.

Man United also suffered an embarrassing Carabao Cup exit to Frank Lampard's Derby County.

Elsewhere, Paul Pogba and David de Gea are 5/6 apiece not to be at Old Trafford at the end of next year's summer transfer window.

PA

Pogba re-joined Man United in 2016 after spending four years away at Juventus, while de Gea arrived in Manchester from Atletico Madrid back in 2011, and has since became one of the highest-rated keepers in the world.

Barcelona and Juventus are most likely destinations for Pogba at 4/1, while de Gea is also liked with Italian giants Juventus (9/2), with PSG not far behind at 5/1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "It must be hard being a Man United fan right now, but the odds suggest things will get a whole lot worse before they get better."
