Kovacic’s Savage Reason Why Liverpool Won’t Win The Premier League
Mateo Kovacic has savagely revealed why he believes Liverpool won't win the Premier League.
The Croatian jokingly said that Jurgen Klopp's men can't win the league because they have centre-back Dejan Lovern in their side.
The Chelsea midfielder, who is on-loan from Real Madrid, poked fun at his fellow country man at an event organised by the Vatreno Heart Foundation.
Luka Modric, Ivan Perisic and Ivan Rakitic were also in attendance with Kovacic as they raised money for the children's charity.
The 24-year-old told 24 SATA: "Liverpool will not be England champions. Why? Well, because they have Dejan Lovern."
The joke stems back to Lovern claiming he is one of the best defenders in the world during the 2018 Russian World Cup.

Speaking to beIN Sports the Liverpool defender said: "It's something special for me.
"From my point of view, people were saying had a difficult season, but I don't agree with that.
"I showed that I took Liverpool to the Champions League final and now with my national team we are in the final.
"I think people should recognise that I'm one of the best defenders in the world and not just talk nonsense I will say."

Meanwhile, the bookies fancy Liverpool's chances of lifting the title more than Chelsea's, as the Anfield side are 5/1 second favourites, while Chelsea are third at 20/1.
However, it is Pep Guardiola's Manchester City who have heavy odds on (3/10) to retain the title.
