Barcelona legend Gerard Pique, who has already helped reshape Tennis' Davis Cup, has revealed his plans for when he hangs up his boots.

Pique, who is 31-years-old, still plays a massive part for Barca and Spain, however, he is already looking ahead to the future.

The former Manchester United centre-back has revealed he is currently working on two projects as he aims to shake up the footballing world.

"I'm working on two projects," the World Cup winner told L'Equipe.

"One of them is to purchase a team. Sadly, I can't say any more about that.

"The other project is to create a new football tournament or to use a competition that already exists.

"The Davis Cup is one of the oldest competitions in sport and what we've done is purpose a change in the format to the International Tennis Federation."

Despite pressing questions from journalists Pique refused to reveal any more about his plans, saying nothing more than: "They're two really cool projects."

However, the rest of the interview with Pique will be released by L'Equipe on Saturday, but it looks like he has some big plans for when he retires.

In the meantime, The Barca defender is hoping to win his eighth La Liga title as the Catalan side sit one point clear of Alaves, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla at the top of the table, and 4/9 says they do so.

Although, they face a tough task they travel to Atletico Madrid tomorrow night, Barca are 11/8 to get the win at the Wanda Metropolitano, while the hosts are 2/1.
