As well as Aintree, there is also racing on Friday. We managed to find a couple of winners at Chelmsford and Southwell, but nothing special.
Today's meets come from Sedgefield over jumps, Leicester hosts a flat meeting on the turf, whilst Kempton hosts an All-Weahter meeting in the evening. In Ireland, Wexford over jumps in the afternoon and Dundalk on the All-Weather in the evening host meetings.
Here are the other selections...
5:55: Dundalk - Royal Diplomat 7/4.
Advert
Ran a cracker to finish second on his debut at Naas last time and can go one better here.
7:25: Dundalk - Zabalan 6/4.
Dermot Weld has had a good start to the season and this four-year-old son of Dutch Art was third on his rules debut and despite his increasing age, has a good chance of winning in this event.
7:45: Kempton - Desert Rain Evens.
Advert
Godolphin have their horses in great form and this three-year-old daughter of Invincible Spirit looks a worthy favourite here.
8:45: Kempton - Synodic 11/4 NAP.
Won three on the bounce and looks to be really progressive. He could be up to winning again in a poor race here.
4:25; Sedgefield - Master Burbidge 13/8.
Advert
Impressive over hurldes this season and if he takes to fences he has to have chance in this contest that looks limited in quality.
**ADDITIONAL SELECTION**
9:15: Kempton - Almanack 5/2.
Ran a big race from a poor draw when 2nd at Chelmsford last time out and looks capable of going one better.
Win Double
7:45: Kempton - Desert Rain Evens.
8:45: Kempton - Synodic 11/4
