Bookies Think Wenger Departure Is Imminent

Arsene Wenger is odds-on with Ladbrokes to leave Arsenal in the coming months.

Following the Gunners' 3-0 Carabao Cup final defeat to Man City, the bookies slashed odds of the Frenchman being given the boot before the opening day of next season to just 5/6 - the shortest they've been this year.

Arsenal are currently 27 points off the top of the table and 10 points off a top four spot in the Premier League, while 5/1 says they win this year's Europa League after reaching the last 16.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "It won't be long before the Wenger Out banners are back on display at the Emirates, and the latest odds suggest the board may finally take action."
