Nick Kyrgios, the controversial Tennis player who brought us the underarm serve at Wimbledon, is currently bringing fan participation to whole new levels.

The 24-year-old went up against Norbert Gombos in the quarter-final of the The Washington Open when he was heard asking one fan: "Where do you want me to go with this serve?"

He later smashed the ball over the net for an ace before embracing the woman. This is classic Kyrgios!

Just a day later, in the semi-final against Stefanos Tsitsipas, the world number 52 asked another fan for his advice when the score was at 6-6 (7-8) tie break.

"Where do you want me to go with this serve?" he asked, shortly before winning the set.

Following the match, Krygios said he was happy with how he played and thanked the fans for staying out late to watch his match.

"I'm just super happy that all the work I'm doing off the court is translating onto the court," he said.

"Four days in a row, four matches competing at my highest level; I'm pretty happy with it, honestly.

"The crowd's been amazing. I love playing night matches here.

"The crowd's hanging around for late night matches and getting into it, and I'm just trying to give them fun tennis to watch, and also trying to get some wins as well."

Kyrgios will play Daniil Medvedev in the final on Sunday afternoon and who knows, he might just ask another fan for advice.
