Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas left his father Apostolos with a nasty injury after the 21-year-old lost his temper during an ATP Cup clash against Nick Kyrgios.
Tsitsipas had lost a crucial tiebreak to the controversial Australian when, in a moment of madness, decided to smash his own racquet on the nearest advertising board.
The world number six wasn't done there.
Tsitsipas lifted his racquet in the air and smashed the nearby courtside chairs, where his father Apostolos was sitting.

Apostolos, to his credit, tried to get out of the way as his son unleashed a flurry of angry racket smashes but one connected with his arm, leaving a visible mark in the process.
A picture of his injury was soon broadcast on Amazon Prime as the game continued.
As you can see in the footage below, Stefanos' mother Julia raced down from the team's box and proceeded to give the youngster a lecture as his father walked away from court.

Umpire Mohamed Lahyani later issued Tsitsipas with a point penalty after the outburst.
This might be one of the most extraordinary moments in tennis history.
And we thought Nick Kyrgios was supposed to be the guy who gave us outrageous moments in tennis.
