Tennis star Genie Bouchard has sent out a plea to a musician after he created an incredible rap song inspired by her.

Montreal-based Matt Yonge, who is originally from Toronto, dropped the aptly named 'Genie Bouchard' track on his official YouTube channel.

The song was written, mixed, recorded and mastered by Yonge, whose YouTube video for 'Genie Bouchard' was uploaded in May.

The song had less than 100 views earlier this week, but it has since climbed to over 7,000 views.

Bouchard, 27, took to Twitter to share a link to the song and praised Yonge, saying "what a vibe."

However, the tennis stunner went on to request that Yonge reach out to her as she wanted to feature in the official music video of 'Genie Bouchard.'

Bouchard tweeted to her 1.6m followers: "Just got this sent to me... what a vibe. Dude, hit me up! Can I be in the music video?"

Yonge, unsurprisingly, was thrilled to hear of Bouchard's endorsement and called her one of "Canada's best."

The Toronto-born rapper tweeted: "Hella happy to hear [Genie Bouchard] is vibing with the song I made about her!

"One of Canada's best! Best music video cameo of all time incoming?!"

Yonge's Bouchard-inspired track also earned him praise from listeners, who are now hoping the 2014 Wimbledon finalist makes a cameo in the music video.

One YouTube commenter wrote: "Good flow man, I think she's going to call."

Someone else posted: "Amazing flow. Hope you get to shoot a video with Genie. Good luck, man. Hope this is your turning point in your career as a pro musician."

While another said: "Your music is out of this world! Simply fire!"

And a fourth added: "The entire thing is so professional it's genuinely impressive. Good job, dude, I love this."

Bouchard did not feature at this summer's Wimbledon after she underwent surgery for a tear in her right shoulder.

The Canadian star picked up the injury in her first-round match at the Guadalajara Open in March.
