Tennis sensation Jack Pinnington-Jones has taken this year's Wimbledon's Junior Championships by storm and it comes as no surprise, too, especially given his connections in the sport.

Intriguingly, Pinnington-Jones became the latest young tennis player to sign with two-time Wimbledon champion Andy Murray. How's that for a contact and mentor?

The 18-year-old is currently the British number one in the junior ITF rankings and is tipped for a bright future in the game - with Murray a firm admirer, tipping him for big things.

He joins fellow rising tennis players in Paul Jubb, Harriet Dart, Katie Swan and Aidan McHugh at the agency.

The youngster, currently ranked eighth in the world at a junior level, is now through to the quarter-final of the junior tournament after his second victory of the week in the heart of south west London.

He next faces Kalin Ivanovski, the world number 62 from North Macedonia.

Pinnington-Jones is also a member of the LTA's Pro Scholarship Programme, which provides world-class coaching, medical and financial support to Britain's elite young players with the potential to reach the top 100 within five years.

But what else do we know about this rising star in tennis?

Who is Jack Pinnington-Jones?

With three junior International Tennis Federation (ITF) titles to his name alongside a recent ITF World Tour Final in Cairo, the 18-year-old from Surrey, is tipped for a bright future in the game.

Former world number one Murray, who acts as a mentor to the athletes signed with 77 Sports Management, told of his excitement to be working alongside Pinnington-Jones earlier this year.

The Scot told Sky Sports: "Jack is talented and is someone I have trained with a bit over the past few years.

"He's got potential and the attributes to have a successful career and we are looking forward to helping him on that journey."

Who is Jack-Pinnington Jones' coach?

Jack Pinnington-Jones is ranked 2,201 which is pretty impressive considering his age, as he takes his first baby steps into the professional game.

Pinnington-Jones is part of the JTC coaching Academy and is sponsored by ASICS and is coached by Marina Caiazzo, a former professional tennis player who then became a national coach for the French Tennis Federation.
