The Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers resumed their NBA Finals rivalry, last night with the Warriors taking the first game 113-91 at the Oracle Arena in Oakland.
While Rihanna stole the show with an MVP worthy performance, court side, Kevin Durant was taking the Cavs to task by helping himself to 38 points, eight rebounds and eight assists - only the second player in NBA history to do so in the first game of a finals series - as the 2015 champions looked to take the first step in reclaiming their crown from LeBron and co.

Durant's performance saw the former Oklahoma City Thunder small forward join some seriously elite company for most points scored in NBA finals since 1978.

But, staredowns with a heckling Rihanna aside, Durant's finest moment came in the first quarter, when he received a pass from Steph Curry and straight up disrespected LeBron James, putting the King firmly on his arse, turning his ankles to jelly in the process, and dunking home another two points.

How Durant didn't just leave the game there and then to get the pints in, I have no idea.
