Such good sportsmanship.

A runner in the London Marathon who collapsed just two hundred metres from the finish line was helped across the line by a fellow marathon runner.

What a guy!

Matthew Rees stopped racing to help David Wyeth who had collapsed during the race earlier today. The footage of him stopping has since gone viral and has had a bunch of people commending Matthew for his actions.

David, an amateur runner from Chorlton Runners Club, Manchester, is seen in the clip looking unsteady on his feet before he appears to fall backwards. Without giving it a second-thought, Matthew stops his own race and begins to help.

Later on in the race David can be seen getting help from race-workers to get across the finish line and Matthew, from the Swansea Harriers, in Wales, can be seen shouting David on and encouraging him to stay on his feet. He eventually heads over and props up a very unsteady David and helps him across the line.

The London Marathon attracted more than 40,000 runners today, who ran the 26-mile route across the city, finishing outside Buckingham Palace.
