Nick Kyrgios splits opinion but there's little doubt over one thing about the controversial Australian, he is very bloody talented. Playing in the first round of Wimbledon he came up with a very early contender for shot of the tournament.
The 15th seed has all too often been in the headlines for his behaviour rather than his tennis despite the fact that his tennis can be utterly brilliant so it's nice to be able to concentrate on it for once.
Playing veteran Radek Stepanek on Court 2's opening match of the second day of this year's tournament Kyrgios went for a cheeky "hot-dog" lob over Stepanek who was attempting to serve and volley:
The Australian, who is in the same half of the draw as Andy Murray, went on to beat his Czech opponent in four sets winning the match 6-4, 6-3, 6-7, 6-1 and goes on to face cult figure Dustin Brown in the next round.
Let's hope this is a tournament where Kyrgios lets his tennis do more of the talking than his mouth.
