The George Washington of the UFC flyweight division; the first and only UFC 125lbs champion with nine consecutive title defences and seeking to tie Anderson Silva's record of ten, tonight.
The No.1 pound-for-pound fighter returns to action at UFC on FOX 24 as Johnson looks for an impressive tenth consecutive title defence.
Johnson is set to square off against Wilson Reis who's racked up a three fight win streak following victories against Dustin Ortiz, Hector Sandoval and Ulka Sasaki.

Johnson created UFC history in 2012 becoming the very first flyweight champion after narrowly out-pointing Joseph Benavidez at UFC 152.
And he's held a stranglehold on the division ever since. Beating all-comers from experience campaigners to budding prospects. From the aforementioned Benavidez (x2) and McCall to Japanese hotshot Kyoji Horiguchi, not to mention defeating fierce rival John Dodson not once but twice.

Johnson is rightfully so the pound-for-pound king after producing masterful performances, and is a shining example of a complete mixed-martial-artist combining every facet into a deadly concoction of brilliance.
His ability to marry striking with his superb wrestling prowess is a catalyst to his victories making him virtually unstoppable.
The 30-year-old's exploits is even garnering praise from his arch rival Dodson who confessed that he's the greatest champion the promotion has ever had.

"Mighty Mouse" has effectively wiped out and cleaned up the entire division as he sets his cross-hairs on many long-standing records including the all-time title defence record.
Johnson's taken out the No.1, 2, 7, 9 & 11 ranked contenders with the rest of the division made up of prospects or fighters not in the mix.
The reigning champion has a desire to break the current record though will be eyeing up new challenges with a potential return to bantamweight on the cards setting up a super-fight against Cody Garbrandt.

In the meantime, Johnson continues to rack up the plaudits even if he isn't widely recognised as a fan favourite.
Quite frankly, if you tag him as 'boring' you clearly don't appreciate greatness. Do yourself a favour and make sure you're sitting in front of a screen for his fight come Saturday night - well, Sunday morning - as the best MMA fighter on the planet is about to do work!
