Remember X-Pac? He was one of the most popular performers in the Attitude Era thanks to his stints in D-Generation X and the New World Order - two of the biggest factions in professional wrestling.

X-Pac made his debut for WWF back in 1993 as a jobber and was referred to as 'The Kamikaze Kid' before later scoring a pinfall over his close friend Scott Hall and becoming '1-2-3 kid' in the process.

He had brief Tag Team title runs with Bob 'Hardcore' Holly and Marty Jannetty before moving to rival promotion WCW IN 1996, where he won the WCW Cruiserweight and WCW World Tag Team Championships in a two-year spell where he was known as 'Syxx' and part of the NWO.

He became X-Pac when he returned for his second spell in the WWF and that's when he had his greatest run, joining Triple H's DX faction as well as forming an unlikely alliance with the big Red Machine Kane. X-Pac won the European Championship and Tag Team Championship on two occasions in what was easily the greatest period to be a wrestling fan.

X-Pac, real name Sean Waltman, was a solid and exciting in-ring performer but injuries and addiction took its toll on him in his career.

The 44-year old has had a long battle with overcoming drugs and alcohol abuse but the great news today is that X-Pac is in quite unbelievable shape, even better than the condition he was in during the peak of his powers as a full-time in-ring wrestler.

He posted a selfie of his incredible body transformation and said that he is in the best shape of his life in every aspect.

The master of the Bronco Buster received a number of messages of support from his former DX and NWO allies - including Road Dogg and Kevin Nash.

What a transformation for X-Pac, who looks the part and is clearly feeling on top of the world, too.

Since leaving WWE in 2002, X-Pac later wrestled for promotions such as TNA, Xtreme Pro Wrestling and CHIKARA and has made a number of appearances for WWE as part of Hall of Fame inductions for his close friends Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash as well as cameos on WWE television.

He signed a legends contract back in 2013 which means he is required to do personal appearances and can only work for certain independent promotions.

Judging by the shape he's in now though, he may well be cut out for another run in WWE!

Congratulations X-Pac, keep killing it.
