You can't beat a good MMA knockout and there was a bloody good one last night.

It happened in the main event of 'Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki's 39th show, which was known as 'KSW: Coliseum'.

KSW is the top MMA promotion in Poland and their 39th event last night saw an eagerly-anticipated heavyweight title bout between Fernando Rodrigues Jr and Marcin Różalski.

The talk going into it was that the champion Rodrigues Jr, who was defending his title for the first time after winning it in November, was good value for the victory given that he was taking on a much older opponent.

But that wasn't to be the case, as the 38-year old Różalski's brutal onslaught the start of the bout sent Rodriguez Jr packing in 16 seconds.

The two exchanged kicks and strikes and after a little slip, Różalski smelt blood and a series of quick, effective strikes, including one huge right hook, swiftly put Rodrigues away and knocked him square into the canvas.

Różalski, the big tattooed monster built like a big shithouse, claimed the KSW heavyweight crown in front of 58,000 fans in attendance and now boasts a 7-4 record in the promotion.

After losing the title, Rodrigues is now 11-2. He still probably doesn't even know where he is after feeling that vicious strike.
