Goldberg and Brock Lesnar came face to face for the first time on Raw last night ahead of their upcoming main event match at Survivor Series this Sunday.
The two have slugged it once before in the main event of Wrestlemania 20, with Goldberg picking up the win courtesy of a Jackhammer. Both men were on their way out and the crowd were well aware of that and promptly booed both competitors.
Lesnar went away and conquered the world of UFC and after returning in 2012, he has wreaked havoc on the WWE roster, utterly destroying big names such as The Undertaker, John Cena and most recently Randy Orton at Summerslam.
But he appears to have met his match with Goldberg, whose return to WWE was 12 years in the making. Goldberg was one of the most dominant men back in WCW and went on a massive undefeated streak in the company, squashing opponents with ease.
The match between Lesnar and Goldberg has been nailed on to happen following on from both men's links with the WWE 2K17 video game and now the bout is set in stone.
Ahead of their main event match last night, Goldberg and Lesnar, along with his advocate Paul Heyman, stood in the same ring, separated by security, who attempted to stop things from boiling over.
Previous comments from both Heyman and Lesnar clearly got to a fired up Goldberg and he was ready for a fight, having decimated several 'security guards' who were in the ring. Shirts were ripped and slung but for the first time in a long time, Lesnar declined the opportunity to slug it out and so we will have to wait until November 20 for the way between the two titans of the wrestling world to mix it up.
It's all going down at Survivor Series on Sunday in Toronto, Live on the WWE Network.
