Footage has emerged which shows the drunken, bloody brawl that earned San Francisco 49'ers tight end Bruce Miller his marching orders from the NFL franchise.

Miller engaged in a brawl with a 70-year-old man and his son at the Fisherman's Wharf Marriott on Columbus Avenue at around 2.45am when he arrived at the hotel only to be told they were fully booked. Not happy with this situation, Miller knocked on a random door, which was occupied by an elderly couple and their 29-year-old son and became involved in a violent altercation with the man and his son, who were both sent to hospital for their injuries.

Surveillance cameras caught footage of Miller stumbling out of the hotel, bloodied and vomiting. The now ex-49'er had fled the scene by the time police had arrived. He was later arrested at a nearby Travelodge. He was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, elder abuse, threats, and battery. He was also charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Miller was booked into San Francisco County Jail but was released on Monday after posting $78,000 bail. He had already been released by the time he left jail.

Miller had spent Sunday with friends at the Palm House restaurant, where he posted a photo to his Instagram with the caption: 'Sunday's are for the boys.'

It seems as if Miller will now have plenty more time for Sundays with the boys.
