Michael van Gerwen won his fourth Premier League title after producing a virtuoso performance against Michael Smith, in front of a raucous crowd which included Robin van Persie.
The Dutch darting hero averaged a stunning 112.37, eventually beating Smith 11-4.
"I think I played a phenomenal game, one of my best ever," the No.1 player said via BBC.

"I know I had a big job to do to win the game but I was focussed on doing something extra - I wanted to break the record average but I fell just short.
"I had to be at my best to beat Michael, he is one of the big boys now."
'MvG's' performance had the whole O2 Arena on their feet, with former Premier League goal-scoring hero, van Persie, joining in on the party atmosphere.

The lethal striker met up with van Gerwen before he took to the Oche, wishing him all the best.
van Persie was then in attendance, sporting a hat and pair of sunglasses.
