Usain Bolt has suffered a injury scare ahead of the Rio Olympics.

The six-time Olympic gold medalists suffered a grade one-tear in his hamstring during the first round of 100m Jamaican trails.

The 29-year-old was unable to compete in the semi-finals after winning the race. It's believed he will seek treatment immediately in bid to return for the London Anniversary Games on July 22nd ahead of the Olympics where he'll be defending his many titles.

He posted on his official Instagram claiming he's starting the recovery process.

The Summer Games will be a prestigious event, but would still have a feeling of emptiness without the 100m and 200m record holder.

Here's hoping he recovers in time for Brazil.
