Is Ronda Rousey ever returning to the Octagon? Well, UFC president Dana White has provided an update while targeting a date for her eventual comeback.

Before her major upset loss to Holly Holm, Rousey was the queen of UFC, dominating the MMA world while spilling over into the mainstream. We sure as hell couldn't stop writing about her.

Though, that devastating night in Melbourne, Australia, proved to be just that. But UFC prez recently spoke about who and when she could potentially fight next believing it'll be before the end of the year.

Speaking to Brazilian outlet Combate, he said; "There is a great chance of Ronda fighting Amanda Nunes and I am very confident that Ronda will probably fight before the end of the year."

Dana's optimism is shared by MMA insider journalist who predicts a title fight upon her anticipated return.

UFC 207 is scheduled to take place on December 30th - a Friday night fight card - from Las Vegas, Nevada. And how big would her return be? The biggest according to Dana.

"I think Ronda Rousey's return will be the biggest pay-per-view we've ever done." He told Colin Cowherd on The Herd. High expectation, indeed.

Since she last competed the bantamweight title has changed hands twice with both Holm and fierce rival Miesha Tate falling on their first defence, as the latter succumbed to Amanda Nunes at UFC 200.
