It's a mega week for MMA with Cage Warriors unplugged as well as the eagerly-anticipated UFC 205 but the promotion have announced their return to English soil.

The Octagon will land in London, England, on Saturday, March 18th 2017 at The O2 Arena. The card marks the return to the capital following UFC Fight Night 84 headlined by Anderson Silva vs. Michael Bisping in February 2016.

UFC Fight Night: London will kick-off a series of European events in 2017, with more cards set to be announced in the coming months. The main man behind UFC EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) operations, James Elliott, stressed the importance of the London market, saying;

"The UK, and in particular London, is an incredibly important market for us. Time and time again we return to the UK and we are blown away by the enthusiasm and support from the fans.

Continuing to add; "Never has there been a better time for mixed martial arts in this region. The UK has its first ever world champion and we have an extremely exciting pool of talented young British athletes looking to make names for themselves on the international stage. What better way to kick off 2017 than with a return to The O2 in London?"

Stay tuned for fight bookings. We can't wait!
