Tim Wiese has been rumoured to be heading to WWE for a while now since hanging up his football boots.

The German giant made a cameo appearance in his homeland a couple of years back and he has been gunning for a spot in WWE ever since.

He was personally invited by Triple H, executive vice president of talent relations, live events and creative, to train at WWE's state-of-the-art Performance Center in Orlando Florida in September and it was announced last week that he will compete in his first match on November 3rd in Munich where he will team with Cesaro and Sheamus against the Shining Stars and Bo Dallas.

Footage has emerged online of Wiese in the ring gearing for his big debut and though it's early days, he looks in good shape. Wiese, is training with Austrian indie wrestler Big Daddy Walter in Cologne and can be seen locking up and bumping; two pivotal skills for WWE superstars.

Take a look at the following clips:

Clearly Wiese is a great athlete but the switch to the world of WWE isn't an easy one to make, as he will be well aware of. If he can pick it up anywhere near as quickly as Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle did, he'll have done very well.

He's certainly got the look and the presence though, which should serve him well.

All eyes on Wiese's in-ring debut next month...
