Anthony McGill produced one of the greatest trick shots ever during a second round match against Stuart Bingham at the World Grand Prix tournament in Preston, but was it intentional?

The 27-year-old's magnificent shot left former world champion Stephen Hendry in awe as the packed out arena applauded McGill's genius.

Even his opponent Stuart Bingham couldn't believe the audacious pink ball rebound.

As you see in the footage below McGill somehow potted the pink, which was intended for the bottom left pocket. Just watch it.

McGill went on to record a 4-1 victory against Bingham, but this game will be remembered for one of the best tricks shots of all time.

Snooker legend Stephen Hendry, who was in the commentary box for the second round tie, couldn't believe his eyes and claimed that he'd never seen a shot like it.

McGill will now face Ding Junhui in the quarter-finals.

Back in December last year, Neil Robertson won the Scottish Open Final after a thrilling comeback on Sunday evening, but Chinese player Cao Yupeng's audacious shot during the match has got everyone talking.

Snooker legend Dennis Taylor said that in 60 years of playing Snooker, he had never seen a shot played like the one Yupeng played in the final and we have to agree.

Robertson, who lifted his first ranking title since 2016, came back from 8-4 down to win 9-8 in a brilliant end-to-end finale as both players produced genius on several occasions.

But Is this shot genius? We just can't decide what the hell it is, but fair play to Cao Yupeng for trying it

Yupeng held the cue by its tip, touching the cue ball ever so slightly to produce the strangest safety shot of all time. But it wasn't enough for the Chinese player, who impressed throughout the tournament.

You can't beat bizarre Snooker.
