BREAKING: Rafael Nadal Wins French Open For The Tenth Time

The King Of Clay is unstoppable once again at Roland Garros

King Of Clay is no longer a suitable title for Rafael Nadal when it comes to the French Open. It's a moniker that is not worthy of his relentless dominance of Roland Garros.

The Spaniard has just claimed his TENTH French Open title, defeating Stan Wawrinka in this afternoon's final and he did so in typically imperious fashion.

The 10 time champion roared through the first two sets 6-2, 6-3 in a whirlwind of ferocious forehands before breaking his Swiss opponent's serve early in the third.

The only positive Wawrinka could take from Nadal's annihilation of him was that he didn't have to pay for a ticket to witness such a phenomenal display.

Wawrinka, a three time Grand Slam winner, who was victorious at Roland Garros in 2015, was bullied across the court from almost the first point, never being allowed to settle into any kind of rhythm by the greatest clay court player of all time.

Nadal would break Wawrinka again in the third set to extend his lead to 4-1, then moments later it was 5-1 as he ruthlessly rolled towards Grand Slam number 15, just three behind Roger Federer's 18 titles.

Congratulations, Rafa. Same again, next year?
