South African Golfer Makes HUGE Claim About Olympic Absentees

Does he have a point?

South African golfer Jaco Van Zyl has made a HUGE claim about top-ranked players missing the Olympics.

Van Zyl states that his fellow compatriots are exploiting fears of the Zika Virus in order to sit out the games, which start on Friday. It's a pretty big claim, but one has to wonder why ALL of the top four golfers in the world have chosen to skip the Olympics.

Jason Day, Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy have all ducked out of participation, citing the Zika virus as their scapegoat.

But Van Zyl speculates that golfers are using the commotion to facilitate more sinister motives, saying, "Honestly, I can't feel that the Zika virus would be their reason not to go, the Zika virus is in Florida."

Well, if you've got any other suggestions about why other golfers are missing the Olympics, we'd love to hear them!
