Between the returns of The Rock, John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shane McMahon flinging himself from the top of a 20 foot cage, it was easy to forget that the Big Show briefly came face-to-face, once again, with NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal.
The pair of seven footers have a history that dates back to 2009, when they became involved in an altercation during Shaq's appearance as special guest host of Monday Night Raw. Seven years later and the two enormous athletes are still yet to settle their rivalry once and for all. Until now.
At last night's ESPN 'ESPY' awards show, Show and Shaq met before the start of the event and discussed settling their on screen feud - an idea the four time NBA champion seemed very receptive to. The pair then shook hands which would suggest a gentlemen's agreement is now in place to make the match happen at next year's WrestleMania 33, in Orlando.
