Conor McGregor will come face-to-face with Nate Diaz for the first time since the Stockton native handed him his first UFC loss, at UFC 196 back in March.
The pair are in Las Vegas for a press conference to promote their rematch at UFC 202, with McGregor looking to avenge the loss of four months ago. Another defeat to Diaz could be catastrophic for both McGregor and the UFC in general as the Irishman had become a mammoth star for the promotion, bringing in a fortune in live gates and pay-per-view buys. Two straight defeats would devalue his star value and damage his reputation, which Dana White will not want to happen to one of his only crossover stars.
The press conference is due to start any minute. Expect fireworks.
