Conor McGregor insists he's ready and open to fighting Nate Diaz at UFC 200.
The Irish fighter was speaking at a tickets sale press conference in Las Vegas tonight for their UFC 202 fight next month - a day after Jon Jones was pulled from the UFC 200 main event after his potential doping violation. Jones' removal is a huge story in UFC, but it's not quite McGregor v Diaz so it was understandable the pair were mentioned for Saturday's event.
McGregor was asked if he would be open to replacing Jones v Daniel Cormier by fighting Diaz and his answer was typically confident.

He said, per UFC's YouTube stream of the event: "I'm here, I'm in shape. All they've got to do is ask."
It's unlikely Dana White would ask McGregor and Diaz to step in considering the fight is just two days away and they already have a high profile main event replacement in Brock Lesnar v Mark Hunt.
McGregor v Diaz II comes with huge hype for UFC and the press surrounding the rematch is only going to intensify following tonight's conference.
